As the name implies found its roots in the old CAMdon’s Franchise, operating in the ALBerton Area some 25 years ago.
Once the franchise was changed, and the then owners Brian & Vanessa Hendry, needed a name change, they opted for the abbreviated version of the franchise that they had helped establish and hence the change to CAMALB.
Although a mouthful to most clients, and a dictionary full of “alternate names” that we have been referred to over the last 25 years, we continue to pride ourselves in the exceptionally personalized and professional level of service that we provide to all of our clients.
The company has been built up over the years on a firm foundation comprising of:

However this would not have been possible had we not had the services of each and every dedicated member of our team of professionals who keep the company “going and growing” and striving for perfection in their field of expertise!
Due to the foresight of the owners, the company has managed to weather the ever fluctuating residential property market and has stood steadfast over the last 25 years.
The company is currently owned by Lee-Ann Hendry who continues to instil confidence in the company, as well as the staff’s ability to service your property requirements, while keeping up to date with changes in all aspects of property ownership and asset management.
We are registered with the Estate Agents Affairs board and carry annual Fidelity Fund Certificates.

From the emergence of the Sectional Title Industry many years ago in South Africa, the sector has experienced enormous growth and seen many changes to the legislation governing the various schemes. With this growth, the need for suitably qualified and equipped managing agents has become necessary.
Camalb have grown with this industry and strive to keep abreast with the changes and challenges that are experienced daily. Our Sectional Title division currently employs dedicated personnel that, in conjunction with the trustees of the various bodies corporate under our management, ensure the financial stability of each and every complex.

Coupled with the financial success of every complex under our management, scheduled routine maintenance and Capital Expenditure projects are put into place, with the guidance of both owners and trustees, to ensure continued growth in the unit owner's investment. Our strict collections policy and budgetary guidance contribute to the financial successes of each complex.
We are proudly associated with the National Association of Managing Agents and comply with their Code Of Conduct as well as carry the necessary Fidelity Fund Certificates through the Estate Agents Affairs Board. We have a team of Professional Associates from which we can draw knowledge and advice and all of whom are directly accessible by our clients. Professional and prompt service in this sector is demanded and our clients have become accustomed to receiving this level of service from us.

Property Rental Service
Our rental division has grown in leaps and bounds over the last 25 years.
Many of the properties originally managed through the first Camalb Rental Division all those years ago, still form part of our rental portfolio, although many have had a “facelift” due to our ongoing recommended repairs and maintenance suggestions, that most internationally based Landlords would not even recognise their own properties!
Comprehensive application forms are completed by every perspective tenant.
ITC credit checks, work reference checks and previous landlord reference are required to ensure a successful application.
Deposits are secured, which are held in a Trust account, and which account, is audited annually in order to obtain a Fidelity Fund Certificate from the Estate Agents Affairs Board of South Africa. Visit the EAAB Website
All tenants are loaded onto the TPN portfolio and the tenants credit rating is monitored an updated monthly dependant on their payment profile. If necessary, and once all steps have been followed tenants can be blacklisted through this service. All excellent payers are also rewarded through this system.
